Tom Bentley lives in the hinterlands of Watsonville, California, surrounded by strawberry fields and the occasional Airstream. He has run a writing and editing business out of his home for more than 10 years, giving him ample time to vacuum. At 77, Kathe Campbell still lives her dream on a Montana mountain with her mammoth donkeys, a Keeshond, and a few kitties. Three children, eleven grands and three greats round out her herd. Claire Costello makes her home in the American Midwest. A freelance writer for more than a dozen years, she writes frequently on parenting issues and disabilities. Uma Girish is an award-winning writer whose features, articles and short stories have been published in seven countries. She is currently working on her first novel. Uma lives in Chicago with her husband and daughter.

William B. "Bill" Kaliher recently retired from a career in public health.
Over the past forty years his love of archeology and adventure led to his
exploring Mexico at every opportunity. Among a multitude of trips he
motorcycled Mexico solo on two occasions, the first trip in 1971. His
writing has appeared in over 250 publications from a scholarly articles on
AIDS in The World & I to archeological reporting for ClubMex Magazine to
adventure off-road travel in Sand Sports Magazine.
When his wife can't lasso him to help on her Friesian Sport Horse
farm he finds himself in constant conflict between the urge to travel or to

Laura Grace Weldon lives on a small farm with her husband and their four children. She writes for national publications about learning, sustainability and spirituality.
